Observance of Vows
As days passed, Ambareesha lost interest in everything-wife, children and kingdom. He was
always thinking of God. He would observe many vows. He would spend all his time in good
thoughts and good deeds. He worshipped Mahavishnu.
Vishnu was highly pleased with Ambareesha who was leading such a good life.
Sudarshana, a sharp-edged disc, is one of the weapons of Vishnu. It is His favorite
weapon. He gave this very Chakra to Ambareesha for being worshipped. This gladdened the
heart of Ambareesha. He began worshipping it with faith and devotion. |
