India Gate

At the heart of the elegant capital city, laid out by the British, is the Indian Gate. A memorial dedicated to Indian soldiers killed in war, the elegant 42 metre arch in buff coloured sandstone stands at the end of the ceremonial avenue, the Rajpath.
