Mahashivratri (All over India)

 Is the great night of Lord Shiva when devotees offer their prayers all night. Special celebrations are held in some of the major Shaivite temples at Varanasi, Kalahasti (Andhra Pradesh) and Chidambaram (Tamil Nadu).
