Naharlagun & Itanagar

Located in the Himalayan foothills of Papum Pare district, Itanagar is the capital of Arunachal Pradesh which includes Naharlagun as well. Its main attraction is the fresh cool breeze and the climate that attracts many visitors.

How to reach: Nearest airport is Lilabari in Assam (57 kms from Naharlagun and 67 kms from Itanagar.) Naharlagun is also connected by a helicopter service from Guwahati. Nearest railway stations are at Harmuti (23 kms from Naharlagun) and North Lakhimpur (60 kms from Itanagar) in Assam.
