How to reach: The nearest rail point is Hospet from where one travels another 12 kilometers by road to reach Hampi. Regular bus services from Bangalore to Hospet. The nearest Airport is Bellary (74 kms). Other convenient airports are Belgaum (190 kms) and Bangalore (353 kms).

What to see: King's Balance, Queen's Bath, Lotus Mahal, Vitthala Temple, Virupaksha Temple, Hazararama Temple, Pampapati Temple, Krishna Temple, Pattabhirama Temple, Chandrasekhara Temple and the Jaina Temple.

Excursions: Aihole, Pattadakal and Badami.
