DADRA & NAGAR HAVELI

The Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli is wedged between the highly industrialised cities of Mumbai, Surat & Vapi. It was administered by Portuguese colonialists and later after it's liberation, by a local administration till 1961, when it was merged with the Indian Union, Silvassa is the capital of the Union Territory.

How to reach: Vapi (115 kms), on the Western Railway line is the nearest railhead. Silvassa is 168 kms from Mumbai, 44 kms From Daman and 380 kms from Ahmedabad.
