Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh

On the Agra road. Terraced gardens planted by Maaji Chundawat Sisodia in 1774. There is also a fine palace consisting of a hall flanked by a verandah, galleries, gardens and bathing ponds.

Vidyadhadi Ka Bagh

On the Agra road. Maharaja Sawai Singh II had this park built in memory of the architect of Jaipur and named it after him. The park encompasses gardens and fountains.  

Ram Niwas Bagh

j L Nehru Marg. Built by the royal family, surrounding the Albert Hall Archaeological Museum.

Ramgarh lake

33 km. Created by stemming the river Banganga; the city of Jaipur draws its supply of water through this 15.5 sq. km. lake. Besides, it is an idyllic spot for picnics and angling.  

Samod

45 km. Ancient royal retreat, notable for its wall paintings and glass work in the Durbar Hall.

Tonk

100 km. Ancient royal mansion. Tonk is famous for its paintings of pure gold and glasswork. Nearby is the Arabic/Persian Museum of manuscripts and calligraphy.

Ajmer

130 km. Known for the Dargah of Moinuddin Chisti and its academic complex. Also popular for the Fort of Taragarh and the Adhai - din - ka Jhonpra that was built in just two - and - a - half days.
