Gangaur Festival (March-April)

A festival of maidens and married women, it is dedicated to Gauri, a manifestation of Goddess Parvati. It begins on the day following Holi and is celebrated for eighteen days. 

Teej (July-August)

This festival of swings marks the advent of the monsoon month of Shravan (August). Swings are hung from trees and decorated with flowers. Young girls sing songs of love and the rain. 

Ganesh Chaturthi (August-September)

Perched on Ranthambhor Fort is the temple of Lord Ganesh. Every year, thousands of people gather here in honor of Lord Ganesh's Birthday.
