LET'S START WITH SOME SIGHTSEEING

Jawaharlal Nehru Bal Bhavan. Children screaming with delight on the Giant Wheel or the Merry-go-round, swinging high up like little birds in the sky or sliding down. Taking a boat ride or trotting up on horses... this is the Bal Bhavan in Cubbon Park. Most popular here, of course, is a ride in the 'Puttani Express' - a toy train.

At the entrance to the Cubbon Park is the Aquarium with a variety of sea-life in different shapes and sizes.

Visvesvaraya Technological and Industrial Museum. A favourite with school children, the exhibits at this Museum reflect India's technological progress.

Government Museum. Established in 1886, the Government Museum has on display ancient weapons, stone carvings, pottery, paintings and relics of the 5,000-year-old Mohenjo-Daro civilization.
