ASSAM
Assam is the gateway to
the North-East, dominated by the mighty Brahmputra river that has
its origins in Tibet. Assam is a major tea producing area and is
also the natural habitat of India's rare one-homed Rhinoceros. One
can view gushing rivers on one side, snow capped mountains on the
other and lush forests in between.
