Bhubaneswar is known as the 'Temple Town' as it has some of the finest temples built in Orissan style, such as - Lingaraj, Rajarani, Mukteswar, Brahmeswar and Parasurameswar temples.

How to reach: Fly to Bhubaneswar from Delhi, Calcutta, Chennai, Mumbai, Vishakapatnam or Hyderabad. Or catch a super-fast train from Calcutta, Madras, Hyderabad, Bombay, Delhi or Trivandrum. Inter- state and tourist bus services are also available.

What to see: The Lingaraja temple, Mukteswara Temple, Raja Rani Temple, The Parasurameswara Temple, Savaranjaleswara temple.

Excursions: Dhauli (10 kms), Khanclagiri and Udaigiri (8 kms), Nandan Kanan (25 kms), Atri sulphur spring (42 kms), Yogini temple (115 kms).
