Kochi

Kochi is a natural harbour and one of India's oldest ports and major naval base. It is a city dotted with Portuguese churches, mosques, Hindu temples and Chinese Fishing Nets.

How to reach: Linked by air and rail to Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Goa and Bangalore. With the opening of New International Airport, there are flights to the Middle East also. It is also connected by road to various tourist centres in the south.
