Introduction
Kerala is a land of

classical dance form Kathakali; boat races during the festival Onam;
the Kovalam beach and Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, Thekkady.
Kerala is also known for
boat rides along the backwaters of Kerala. Imposing 18th century
architecture of the Padmanabhapuram Palace, the invigorating air of
the hills of Ponmudi, Munnar and Peermade, the birthplace of great
Sankaracharya at Kaladi and the Pazhasi Raja's fabulous fortress,
the Perumanam Kotta.
One of India's most
literate states, Kerela is a very progressive state.
