How to reach: Coimbatore (100 kms) is the nearest airport. A hill train links Udhagamandalam and Coonoor to Mettupalayam which is connected in turn on the broad guage route to Coimbatore and Chennai. Excellent bus services run between Udhagamandalam and Coimbatore, Udhagamandalam and Bangalore via Mysore (299 kms) and other important towns in the area.
