The 42 feet high-shoot fountain spouts form a pond with a diameter of 200 feet. Around the fountain are well-laid lawns.

The park is within the Udaipur Municipal Town Hall having spacious lawns around a pond. There are boat rides and rides involving elephants, camels, horses and goats.

The 100 acre garden build by Maharana Sajjan Singh in 1874 has metalled pathways and 200 shrubs.

The first such novelty, a mini train, mainly for children, offers a 2-kilo-metre circular ride around and through Gulab Bagh, the rose garden.
