State Museum
The State Museum at Kohima is purely ethnographic in nature. On view are baskets, colorful woven textiles, some decorated with designs made up of cowrie shells, bone ivory and bead jewellery, head gears, the traditional dao or the all purpose implement, wooden sculptures and death masks.
