Introduction

Ahmedabad

The premier destination in Gujarat and a busy cosmopolitan city. The capital of the state - Gandhinagar is the twin city of Ahmedabad.

How to reach: Well linked by air with major cities. Ahmedabad is a major rail junction on the Western Railway line and is well connected with important cities and towns in the country by road as well. It is 555 kms from Mumbai, 1076 kms from Delhi.

Capital of a former princely state, it is today a thriving commercial centre.

How to reach: Well connected by air with Mumbai. It is a railway station on the Western Railway line connected with Ahmedabad and is well connected by motorable roads.

Introduction

The walled city of Bhuj is the headquarters of the Kachchh district.

How to reach: Bhuj is directly connected by air with Mumbai. It is a railway station on the Western Railway line, connected with Ahmedabad, Gandhidham and Kandla. Bhuj is connected by State highway upto Bhachau (85 kms.) and thereafter by National Highway No. 8A to Ahmedabad.

Jamnagar

One of the foremost princely states of the Saurashtra region, Jamnagar is today known for it's tie and dye work on fabrics, silken and gold embroidery.

How to reach: Directly connected by air with Mumbai. It is a railhead on the Western Railway line, connected with Ahmedabad and Mumbai. Jamnagar is linked by road with Ahmedabad (304 kms), Dwarka (148 kms), Mumbai (782 kms), Rajkot (89 kms).

Junagadh

An ancient fortified city, lying at the foot of the Girnar Hills.

A small hill resort in the Dang district of South Gujarat.
