Introduction

Bhopal
Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, is set around a lake and is famous for it's archaeological wealth.

An ancient city, steeped in it's past splendour.

Indore
Situated on the banks of the rivers Saraswati and Khan, a city originally founded by Rani Ahilyabai Holkar.

Khajuraho
The capital of the Chandela Kings, Khajuraho is famous for it's magnificent temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and the Jain Tirthankaras.

Omkareshwar
This sacred place is situated at the confluence of the rivers Narmada and Kaveri. The temple of Shri Omkar Mandhata here is one of the 12 jyotirlingas.
How To Reach : Omkareshwar is well connected by road with Indore (77 kms). The nearest airport is at Indore. Nearest railhead is Omkareshwar Road (12 kms) on the Ratlam-Khandwa section of Western Railway. Regular buses connect Omkareshwar with Omkareshwar Road, Indore, Ujjain and Khandwa.

Orchha
Orchha was founded in the 16th Century by the Bundela Chieftan, Rudha Pratap who chose this stretch of land along the river Betwa as an ideal place for his capital.

Situated on the banks of the river Shipra, Ujjain is one of the venues of the Kumbh Mela.
