Bihar
Bihar is a ancient state in eastern India with a rich cultural heritage. Also very rich in natural mineral wealth, Bihar is a developing state with all resources dedicated towards infrastructural development.
Seat of the ancient Indian empires, Bihar has the national archaelogical heritage sites of Nalanda and Vaishali, where ruins of ancient cities can be seen. Naturally beautiful and as yet unexplored - the Interiors of the state are home to tribals, some of whom still live in their natural habitat. Bihar also has some rare Buddhist temples and shrines as well.
Local produce includes-hand made paintings done with vegetable dyes, hand woven fabric, Indian tussar silk and wooden tribal ornaments.

Bodhgaya
Where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment the holy land of Bodhgaya is important for all Indians and international visitors alike.
How to reach : Nearest airport is Patna (181 kms). Patna is well connected by air with Calcutta, Delhi, Lucknow and Ranchi. Nearest rail station is Gaya (11 kms).
