Area : 520.82 sq. km
Best time to visit : November to May (closed mid June to mid November).
Species found : Elephant, tiger, panther, sloth bear, nilgai, sambar, chital, wild boar, porcupine, peafowl, red jungle fowl, partridge crocodiles, goral and chousingha.
Where to stay : Forest Rest Houses, Log Huts, etc. at Dhikala; Forest Rest Houses at Sarapduli, Bijrani, Ghairal. Excellent resorts also along the park.
Nearest Town : Ramnagar (51 kms).
How to reach : Nearest Airport at Pantnagar (110 kms.) and nearest railhead at Ramnagar (51 kms).

Dudhwa National Park
Area : 488.29 sq. km
Best time to visit : November to May
Species found : Tiger, panther, sloth bear,
sambar, swamp deer, chital, hog deer, barking
deer, nilgai, peafowl, junglefowl, patridge, etc.
Where to stay : Forest Rest Houses, Log Huts at Dudhwa and Sathiana.
Nearest Town : Palia (10 kms).
How to reach : Nearest airport is at Lucknow
(250 kms) and railhead is at Dudhwa.
