Allahabad
Allahabad is a city
built at the junction of three rivers, two of which - the Ganga and
the Yamuna are the lifelines of the Indian subcontinent. The third
river Saraswati is now extinct but exists in mythological folklore.
It has also been a learning centre with one of the oldest
universities of India located here.

are at Varanasi, Lucknow and Kanpur. Trains from all metros and
major cities cross Allahabad. Well connected by road. Some major
