Badrinath
Badrinath is one of
the important pilgrimages of the Hindus, dedicated to Lord Vishnu
and is located in the Garhwal Himalayas. The temple opens from
April-May and closes for winter in the 2nd/3rd week of November.
How
to reach: Nearest airport is
at Jolly Grant (315 kms). Nearest railheads are at Haridwar (293 kms)
and Kotdwara (325 kms). Badrinath is connected by a motorable road
with Rishikesh, Kotdwara, Dehradun, Haridwar and other hill stations
of Garhwal and Kumaon.
What

Shilas, Tapt Kund, Narad Kund, Brahma Kapal, Sheshnetra,
Charanpaduka, Neelkanth Bridha Badri and Adibadri.
