After returning from England, Jawaharlal started his legal practice as junior to his
father. On 8th February 1916, Jawaharlal married Kamala, the daughter of Jawaharmal Kaul. The celebrations were spread over ten days and there was great pomp and splendor. After their return to Allahabad there were banquets for several days.
