Ujjain

Situated on the banks of the river Shipra, Ujjain is one of the venues of the Kumbh Mela.

How to reach: The nearest airport is Indore (53 kms) connected by air with Bhopal, Delhi, Gwalior and Mumbai. Ujjain is a railhead on the Western Railway line, well connected with major cities in India.
