MADANA MOHANA MALAVIYA

The Lawyer

Even as he was engaged in public life, Malaviya became an advocate the Allahabad High Court in 1892. Within a short time he became a very famous advocate. His charming and persuasive speech, simple and clear analysis and arguments and profound scholarship shone not only in courts of law but also at public meetings and conferences. In course of time, Malaviya began to win an enduring place in public life.

Malaviya was endowed with extraordinary intelligence, eloquence, patience and the capacity for hard work; he could have easily earned pots of money as a lawyer. But throughout his life he never accepted a false or a hollow case. He likes to argue for and win cases in which innocent and poor people were involved.
