VEDANTA DESHIKAR

At Satyamangala

The great man visited many holy places on his way from Melkote to Satyamangala. He liked the surroundings of the town. The river, the temple, the beautiful and quiet environment and the pious people of the town impressed him deeply. Its nearness to Sriranga was an added attraction and he
could visit that holy place at will. He lived in Satyamangala with his family for forty years. It was only here that he lived in a quiet and undisturbed atmosphere. Hundreds of people became his disciples in this town.
