| The
Dawn At last one day, like sunrise in the sky, two handsome youths appeared before him. They rode on horses. Tired from the journey, they entered the hermitage of Vidyaranya. They saw the saint and prostrated at his feet. They were both about thirty or thirty-five years of age. They appeared to be brothers. There was the stamp of royalty and dignity in their bearing. Since Vidyaranya was waiting for the arrival of the Man of Destiny, he felt that the man had arrived at last. He welcomed them with affection. The youths said, 'Gurudeva, we are blessed by meeting you. The clouds of darkness which hung over our life have cleared with this blessed meeting. Bless us and save us." |
